ETA Services was formed in 2022 to help District Councils and Water Utility Contractors deal with the challenges of upgrading or optimizing existing brown-field water and wastewater treatment plants.

With many small plants having antiquated control systems and out of date electrical drawings, a systematic approach to modernization is required.

Steve has designed, managed and implemented upgrades and new builds for clients across New Zealand for the last 10 years.

At ETA we understand the consequences of not getting it right. We implements robust risk assessment and methodology statement processes to ensure your projects run smoothly. 

Radio Telemetry is another of our specialties. Often considered a “dark art”, it need not be so if sufficient engineering is done up front. We can evaluate your existing legacy networks and propose cost effective, staged upgrade paths to modern IP-based UHF radios whilst maintaining operation of your legacy RTUs.

We also have the knowledge and tools to undertake path-loss studies and perform on site signal strength tests to verify our models.
